I know how excited you are! When we found Sophie we had to wait a month! 4 looooooong weeks! LOL! It is best that your puppy stay with its siblings and mother till 8 weeks, so your breeder is doing the right thing having you wait. Have you gotten your house puppy proofed and ready? At least that will give you something to do! What about names? Have you thought of one? We had Sophie named before we brought her home, and our breeder started calling her by her name early on. We had fun coming up with her registered name. We settled on Cheyley's Cafe' au Lait Sophia. Where are you located?

I was anxious to wait one day to pick up Bentley from the pound! Tank was a we are going to get him today from my cousin and Mae was the same way. I did have to wait for 7 weeks to go pick-up my grandparents(now uncles) rottweiler puppy! I couldn't sit still and at school well lets just say the last week was not good on the grades, lol.

So I trust them. However , I've only gotten 1 pic of our puppy so far (7 weeks) and I almost feel like I'm annoying reaching out every week to her for updates. My husband says to chill out,but I really want to see more pics of him and hear more about him over te next week before we get him. Do I relax and wait for the breeder to get back to me with final pickup info or do I reach out again? Just don't want to annoy them.
After 5-6 weeks there's really no reason why you shouldn't be able to go visit the puppy. The Breeder may not be as Internet capable as some and taking and sending pictures/videos along with a work schedule may make things tough for her to do.

Will she accommodate a visit from you to see your new puppy?

The breeder I chose was also very busy and involved with the local labrador club so I didn't get updated as much as I wanted to, or I thought I should. But all went well regardless. We did visit her at 7 weeks and picked her up at 9, and the 2 weeks just dragged.
You could occupy your time with getting things ready for puppy and visiting pet stores etc. Also reading up on puppy training or those kinds of things. When puppy is at home you don't always have the time.
The voices in my head may not be real, but they have some good ideas!

The breeder is 5 hours away so visiting isn't really an option with the kids, etc. Thanks everyone for your advice. I will post pics when we get him!
