I realize I am late to this party but I agree with this. You don't handle this puppy in an appropriate manner. Holding your hand around her throat is a pretty threatening gesture to any mammal. Of course she is going to fight to get out of your grasp.

You need to get off the floor and play with her appropriately (fetch would be good) and do not allow her to play with your hands. Simply standing up is going to change the dynamic here. And, when she is coming at you all riled up, turn away or redirect her to a toy. If she is wildly out of hand that usually means a nap is in order - put her in the crate.

Since the time I have received comments from all of you, I have started doing as you all suggested. I will be consistent with it. Let's see how it goes!

This sounds like normal lab puppy behavior. If an enticing toy to divert doesn't work, we have had some success with just a short "time out", something that seems to disrupt that wild play mode her or his mind gets into. We use our guest bath, remove all play options (toilet paper, trash can) and let her stay in there by herself for no more than 5 minutes. We invite her to come out in a calm voice, then ignore her a little. Always nice to have options when they're driving you bananas!

Awww.....she's just being a puppy! I agree with everyone here and would also like to ask - where are her toys in this room? I ask because it looks like several times she went to look for something else to put in her mouth (smart pup - redirecting herself!, mine did that too.) When she finally found something (the box) you took it away. I think she was a little confused? Good luck with her - she is beautiful! It will get better.
