    Default Blood on chew bone.

Well, Charlie is losing his puppy teeth now. 5 lost already that I can confirm. Probably more that I can't. lol

I have noticed very little blood as he's lost then but today he was chewing on one of his favorite things. He hasn't gotten one in awhile so he was very excited and went to town. I noticed blood was building up on it and a minute or so later, a baby tooth fell out but between the blood on the bone and more blood on the baby tooth than any of the others I have collected...I'm wondering if it was a bad idea to let him chew on something so hard.

Here's a picture of the bone...

In our experience we take away if Nina is going to town to roughly, and we give ice cubes, it kinda numbs the gums and seize the blood a bit then she takes it easy with the chewing.
Don't worry, if he is no crying or acting differently and bleeding like crazy,he is fine and actually is finding a big relief in that bone, these pups are stronger and smarter than we think!

Don't you love finding the teeth?

I remember when Sophie got her big dog teeth! She would really gnaw on her hard rubber bones, I think it feels good to them. Human children often bleed when they lose baby teeth, so I guess our fur kids are not much different.

My dog Macy has a tendency to swallow all of hers. I've yet to find any of her teeth on her toys are just laying around, lol.

He's lost 3 canines now and I haven't found a one. I really want a canine after all the damage they have caused. lol
