I have a 4 month old almost 5 month old jack Russell female puppy. She sleeps though the night for the most part. But if I leave her in her create for more then4 hours she will pee most of the time. Is it normal for them to make it though the night but have to be let out every 3 to 4 hours during the day?
How long is she in the crate and is she drinking in there. They don't usually pee in their beds.
Mine last through the night and like us need to go out a lot more during the day. Hopefully someone will be able to give you good advice.

She is only in her create when I leave the house. She doesn't have water in her create. I always let her out before she goes in there. She doesn't always pee in there. Sometimes she goes 4 hours with out and other times she can't hold it that long.
How big is the crate? If it is too large she will find a spot she can go and not soil her sleeping area. For house training I believe the crate is supposed to be just large enough for the dog to comfortably turn around and stretch out to sleep.
