Me and my family have a 5 month old lab mix puppy that we got from a rescue a few months ago. Since the weather is getting colder, we have started wearing socks and slippers around the house more often. Our puppy has been nipping and biting our feet when we are wearing socks and slippers. We have tried to correct her using multiple methods such as gently tugging on her collar (the trainer suggested this), yelping and walking away, sitting down and putting our feet up in the air, and closing her snout shut and saying no. These corrections don't seem to be working. She continues the behaviors and has actually been nipping at our hands in what we believe is protest.

Any advice would be wonderful. Thanks!
