how big is your crate? How old are your dogs?
I'd get them each their own crate.

millie is 10 weeks and jack is nearly 3
they are about the same size
No - you really should crate them separately.
Sharon - still not a dude.
No - they should not be crated together in a single crate.
ok thanks
yup, I wouldn't subject a 3 year old to a 10 week old puppy when you aren't around to supervise. Anything could and probably would happen.

was your jack ever destructive before? why do you think the destruction is related to the puppy?
is the jack crate trained?
putthing them in a crate together would be bad for many reasons. mostly, it would be cruel to the 3 year old to be locked up with a PUPPY all that time. and even if they get along, it is ALOT to ask of two dogs to be so close for so long with no space. Plus, it will really not help the puppy become their own dog. It is important for a puppy to bond with their humans and get one on one time with them and socialized without with hte other dog. otherwise they bond too closely to the other dog and are unable to function without them.
Hi sorry no been on in a while yer he Was crate trained. They are both in their own crates when I'm Not in or at night
