how much sleep?

curious as to how much everyone's dogs sleep? my boy is 7+ months and sleeps alot.
not the most energetic unless dogs or kids are around. he likes walks though.
of course he never was the exuberant play pup. just want to make sure he is staying healthy. i work from home so he spends alot of time at my feet.

Bentley is 7 months also and seems he sleeps a lot also. Sometimes I wonder if it's because he is bored because he will sleep unless my husband or I are actively engaging him, which we obviously aren't able to constantly do. Do remember that he is still young and growing and just like a kid doesn't need to be going constantly.

Spike was never much of a napper. If we put him into his crate for naps it would just screw up night time. At night tho he sleeps from 8 ish up to 6 in the morning with no problem - has always been a good night sleeper. These days we're not doing much until we get the ok from the doc. Avoiding walks until we find a preventative that works for him, some yard play, beaches are closed to dogs until September (grrrrr) and he is sleeping more during the day out of boredom and nights are still good. I'm rambling, aren't I ?
