    Default what the heck?!?

Our dog Bailey is 8 months old and has NEVER I repeat never had an accident in her crate Pee or poop since we got her at 8 weeks. Today my boyfriend picked her up from daycare and the worker told him she pooped in her crate during nap time 11- 1. Both of us are so shocked, she's never had an accident in her crate. Chris asked if her poop looked like she had a stomach ache and the owner said no. Very strange and bothersome to us. Does anyone know why this could've happened?

Given all you said, I'm wondering if she had to go out, and nobody at the day care picked up on her signals.

I agree with Micksmom. Not to alarm you- One time my moms old dog did that and it was because she (the dog) ate something and it just passed through and the dog gave no signals that she needed to go out. I think it was plastic if i remember right.

Bean just totally changed his poop time a few days ago. It used to be in the morning, and now it's at night. Maybe it caught Bailey and his workers by surprise. Or maybe he just sharted. It happens .

I'm on edge as far as health issues go right now but since you had mentioned to me about the conjunctivitis I'd run it past the vet. Could be that she was just so busy playing that she forgot to poop but better safe than sorry

Thanks for the advice everyone. When Bailey got home, she ended up having diarrhea twice and threw up. Chris said it looked like she ate something at daycare....which would make sense why she went in hwr crate. She definitely was not feeling well when she got home

Maybe she smelled something that made her poop? I'm not sure how that works but I heard that there are some smells that can make dogs pee.
