    Unhappy No longer fetching

Ever since she was a little pup, Tessa was great at fetching. She'd drop the ball at my feet for another go. Tessa is now four and stopped fetching all-together this spring (we were holed up thru the winter). She gets real excited & will run after the object (ball, frisbee, etc), pounce on it, pick it up and then just drop it & forget it. She'll either mosey on back to me without the object or just start eating grass (she's not sick, she's always been a grazer). This first started last year off & on. She just had her check-up last week and vet says she looks great, blood work-up excellent. So what happened? My kids say she has ADD

tank is liek that sometimes. he is just not a big fetcher. Bentley does it if something catches his eyes or he smells something better then his breathe

HK has her days when 2-6 retrieves are fine, then she is done. Grazing, layin the lawn, maybe turns over to do her twisting on her back, maybe just sits there contemplating the wonderful yard. This just started this year. She turned 4 in January. On another day, she is good to go until I finally cave in. There does seem to be a bit of a temperature correlation. Warmer/shorter.

I guess I shouldn't worry then?? Now she will fetch her jollyball out of the pool but then she'll drop it somewhere in the yard, not bring it to me. She expects me to go get it & throw it again. Who's really doing the fetching here? So if I don't get it, game over. Is this some dominance thing? Should I press this issue? I also don't like that she's not getting her exercise. She's always been a terrible walker & besides, I really liked that game.

I don't beleive it is a dminace thing or i would have to control over Tank have you tried a head collar or a easy walk harness on her? With the crazy weather all of us have been having could also be having a toll on her.
