Is it possible to get a search option (I've seen it with other forums) where you can enter a user's username, and find all posts by that user? I will get on here and post replies to many people in different sub-forums, and then can't remember the sub-forum I posted in and the thread I was responding too. (Old age, I guess. Can one have Alzheimer's at age 36?) Anyway, I could then enter my OWN username, and see which threads I posted to...
Re: A "search all messages by this member" feature??
Not sure if this is what your talking about. But at the top that says Show new replies to your post. I use that when I wanna look at the loans I responded too. There is also a link for messages you havent read yet. Sorry if thats not what u are talking about.
Re: A "search all messages by this member" feature??
You can go to the "MEMBERS" tab. Then find who you are looking for and there is a link at the bottom of their information to show recent posts of that member.
Re: A "search all messages by this member" feature??
Click on your own profile under your avatar. Scroll to the bottom of that page and the second option up from the bottom should be show the last posts of this person.
Its all fun and games until the flying monkeys attack
Re: A "search all messages by this member" feature??
Jinx and Sheila,
Thanks! This works well. Do you know how long your posts stay? In other words, it says "show last posts." In some forums, it says "show all posts by this person." How long will your posts stay under "last posts?" In other words, does "last posts" mean -- over the last week, or the last month, or what? Or, is it not determined by time, but by number? In other words, does it show your last 100 posts or something?
Mybabymambo -- I can't get the "show new replies to your posts" to work for some reason. I click on it, but I don't get anything. My computer grinds along forever, and then it stops -- but doesn't show anything -- it says "no messages."
Anyway, I think the "show last posts" option will work.
