Sticky in the puppy/training forum

We who exchange info in the Puppy/Training thread would LOVE to have a sticky for questions that get asked over and over and over and over: Something like JL Greatest Hits or Training/Puppy essentials or something like that.

Lydia has an EXCELLENT post on recall that I've seen her post numerous times, and I feel like every 8 wks or so, I'm posting my sermon on Prong Collars. A sticky that we could refer to (or that people visiting the forum could read BEFORE posting their questions) would save everyone some time/keystrokes.

Might I add that if someone makes the post for Daniel to sticky, and keeps it updated, it would be very useful.

Name it something like New Puppy Owners FAQ... and then have headers with links to previous threads...* for example:

Training Collars
<linky to Dwecks prong collar blurb>
<linky to Gentle Leader or Gentle Walker thread>
etc..

Crate Training
<linky to crate training threads.>

Biting
etc...

Recall
etc...

And then as new threads come out, the original post can be edited by the original poster, with the new links.

I stickied the topic. A few suggestions from my end:

Consider editing the first post to show all the links to frequently asked questions. Sort of like shortcuts or a FAQ page.

You might consider adding "FAQ" our "Read First" so new visitors will notice the post.

Here, here! I second that, Sheila. That is the whole reason I went searching for a Lab site after getting my lil Prince; getting good advice and suggestions on a lot of different topics.
