Because I voiced my dislike of this feature Nallah06 has continued to "LIKE" all my post and now I am flooded with notifications. It just opens the door for immature people to annoy others. Get rid of it please.

Is that why you are following me around the forum? That's rather stalkerish.
Oh, because I thought you were doing that to me by quoting everything I had to say...
Change isn't going to kill you, I promise.

It's not about change killing any of us ... it's about a feature that allows nonsense to happen based on the suggestion of a relatively newcomer to the board .. a discussion about the feature might have allowed for some input ... someone on one of the other threads commented at the number of "likes" given the feeling expressed by many. I'd like to point out that JLers are well in touch with irony and even sarcasm ..
The "thanks" could be useful feature I suppose but all of these gadgets really do strike me as a way to help people avoid expressing feelings on their own and some kind of a popularity contest ...

Which is why I posted it in the suggestion area. Its not my fault it came "to" so quickly.
Don't blame me for a suggestion.

I'm not blaming you for the suggestion - nor for the reaction to the suggestion
I do think you are being over the top in your response to people's reactions to the change .. you are taking it very personally ... I, for one, am not blaming anybody. I'm just not happy with the feature as I don't get the point, nor do I like the abuses it opens the members up to.

I respect that.
I am not necessarily fond of the "like" either. I could appreciate the "Thanks" button a lot more. Just my opinion.
