Constantly limping

Apparently Dryf is constantly limping (front paw). Pretty bad. He's on Remadil for the pain but it's obviously not helping much.

Any suggestions? The vet doesn't seem to think there is anything much we can do - he has arthiritis in that elbow that is worse.
Oh Dryf is over 13 years old.

We tried Rimadyl when my Sam had arthritis in his back legs. Didnt see much difference at all. I told my vet that, so he took him off the Rimadyl and put him on Metacam. Huge difference.

If it's not working for Dryf, talk to your vet and see if you can try something else.

My girl Lexi will be 11 this year and she has arthritis. As will all labs, she still wants to play like she's a pup. Any kind of strenuous activity makes here limp so we take it easy with her. As for her medication, she is on Deramex and her blood is monitored by the vet every three months. The medication is a anti-inflamitory and a pain reliever. It works wonders on her as well as it did on my late Ben.
