Here's my sweetheart Bessie, who turned 12 on the 4th of July! We adopted her when she was 7 years old via Oregon Lab Rescue. She's the most independent and stoic dog we've ever had, and she's mellowed into a wonderful girl. Her hips are arthritic now and she's getting fragile, but she still enjoys charging through the mountains in search of anything stinky and disgusting, which she swallows in one gulp. There's absolutely nothing lady-like about our Bess!

Here is my Kasey.....11 years old back in August. she's still pretty fiesty, despite arthiritis, and a bratty pup named Spartacus.
