With all the new vitamins, supplements and hip and joint products available , I'm getting more confused.
I need suggestions on an "all in one" if there is one available. I would like a multi-vitamin supplement with hip and joint properties as well.
Thanks!
Good question. I have been giving straight glucosimine (sp?), should I be adding anything else ?
Clancey is 9. Harper is 5
I'm not sure... I have read a lot lately about giving vitamins ,especially designed for seniors, is a good idea. I have located one on Dr.'s Foster and Smith's website that is a good option right now. I will post it later when I get the name.
That is a really good question! Emma hasn't problems with her legs, but could I give her glucosamine in a preventive way? ???

I think it's a good idea. Beau is not showing any real signs as of yet,but I figure it's not too late to start preventative.

Yes you can use G/C as a preventative. I start at 4 months for the life of my dogs. If you are looking for an all 'round supplement, then you can try the Nupro Joint Supplement.

Prolly the cheapest place to get it is at PetFoodDirect.com

Labby, a question for you: Have you seen any difference in your seniors who eats Glucosamine, comparing with other dogs?

Nupro is a powder. You mix it with their food and add water.
Veronica, hard to say. My vet and I figure its a "might help, won't hurt" thing so I do it.

Labby, is G/C straight glucosimine or a mixture with something else ? If so what is the mix ?
Just want to make sure I get it right
