Bella is getting spayed today. She is a rescue that my neighbor has had for about one month. The vet believes she is about 3 years old. She had one litter of puppies. Are there any special considerations for spay recovery for an adult dog?
I have some photos of her and I will post as soon as I figure out how.
Thanks for your help!

Hi, no real considerations that I can think of. Good luck to Bella.
Don't ever save anything for a special occasion. Being alive is the special occasion.

Nope. Just try to keep her activity to a minimum during the 10 days of recovery.
Thank you for rescuing her!
Sharon - still not a dude.
Do not giver her a bath or let her stitches get wet is one we were told by the vet. The vet should give you a huge list of things to follow when she comes home. Thanks for you rescuing her and for allowing her to not have any more puppies![]()
