going to pick up zoey this pm. She started eating on Thursday morning up to that point the only thing she had eliminated was the old stuff that was in her intestines and some of it was some junk that she had eaten. She had not yet pooped out any of the new food that she has started eating but the vet said that everything was greatly improved and that they had taken out the IV and she is just now on oral meds and should be on the mend. They are sending her home with meds etc and watch for throwing up or diarreah. If those problems occur to call the vet right away otherwise she should do ok.
I will keep the forum informed of her progress
Thanks for all of the thoughts

Great news!!!! I'm sure she will do even better back at home in comfortable surroundings. Just remind her that you do not live in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory where EVERYTHING is edible!
Sending healing, digestive thoughts her way!!
yipee she is home and eating a little bit at a time and drinking water so I am hopeful. Yes it is good go have her home even though it was $1,200 later.
Thanks

So glad to hear that she is finally home and on the mend. Both of you will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

scutter, just wondering how you and Zoey are doing these days. Hope everything regarding her recovery is still "good".

Scary situation. So happy Zoey made a good recovery!
Tanner swallowed a rock about a week ago (did not know about it). Found it when he vomited it out the next day. Let's just say he's no longer allowed to play with rocks.
Oh Yippee! It sounds like you have travelled a long and scary road. I'll bet you never thought you'd be so happy to see poop!
