(I've never sen leftovers of this dish - a coworker/friend makes it all the time)
CRAISIN NOODLE COLE SLAW
DRESSING:
½ cup sugar
½ cup cider vinegar
2 pkgs seasoning broth from beef flavor Ramen noodles
1 cup vegetable oil
Mix first 3 ingredients together first for better dilution, then add vegetable oil.
SALAD:
1 16oz bag of cole slaw (shredded cabbage etc)
2 pkgs Ramen noodles (broken up into bite sized pieces)
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup slivered almonds (you can toast if you’d like to, but not necessary)
1 bunch green onions cut up
1 cup (Ocean Spray) Craisins
Prepare dressing a few hours before serving-overnight is better.
Break up Ramen noodles. Add sunflower seeds, slivered almonds, & onions to noodles.
When ready to serve, mix cole slaw with sunflower seeds, craisins, onions & Ramen noodles. Add dressing and toss to coat. Enjoy
If you're bringing this dish somehwere, mix everything except dressing and add that just before serving, otherwise the noodles and almnds get soggy.

That sounds yummy!
I love it but I make mine w/o the (Ocean Spray) Craisins

I think this is what my SIL always brings to family functions. No craisins though. I don't recall almonds either. Everything else sounds right though.
