A co worker gave me this recipe. I did a test run last week to see how they'd turn out. I wanted to just eat a few and freeze the rest for our Christmas party. Well my husband liked them so much he ate the whole batch!
1 can lump crab meat
1/2 stick softened butter
1 jar Old English Cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon mayo
1 package of English Muffins
Mix everything together, except for the english muffins.
Cut english muffins in 1/2 and spread mixture on them, bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes and cut each muffin into quarters.
I like to freeze my muffins whole for about an hour then cut them into quarters. They are easier to cut frozen.
yummmmm!!!

This is very much like one of Paula Dean's recipes for "crabbies." I am definitely gong to try it!

Throw the ball, damn it!
My friend Dianne has made these every Christmas party for the last 16 years. We LOVE them!! Our other friend was telling her mom about them and she said they were popular in the 60's as well, and that she used to make them quite often. I love the tried and true recipes like this!
