Waiting for your recipe. I have a couple pheasants in the freezer I need to cook up.
He's not the pheasant plucker he's the pheasant plucker's son and he'll be plucking pheasants till the pheasant plucker's done......or something like that :-)

Roast Phesant with wine:
1 pheasant quartered
1-1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 T. olive oil
3 oz. can of mushrooms (undrained)
1/2 cup sauterne
1/4 sliced onions
Combine flour, paprika, salt and pepper. Roll pheasant pieces in mixture. Brown on all sides in olive oil. Add mushrooms and liquid, sauterne and onions. Cover and simmer about 1 hour or until tender. Makes 2-3 servings.
I fixed this years ago and it was great. Now.....I think I would use fresh shrooms and change it around a bit.
