easiest shortbreads ever :)

1 pound of softened butter
I cup of brown sugar - packed

cream the two together

preheat oven to 300 degrees
add 4 cups of flour

knead together (by hand here so for about 8-10 minutes)

roll little balls of dough out - I make a heart shape (just indent the top as you flatten the ball) then flatten with a fork

bake about 20 minutes at 300 degrees
