Ivory has passed over
Joe sent me a very sweet email tonight letting me know that after a very brave battle with Lymphoma, Ivory passed over. Her new parents and sister were there and they plan to cremate her.
Even though I took a lot of heat for it after reading that email from her human sister, I know in my heart we did the right thing for IVORY. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.

I just can't stop crying. Ivory was such a special girl and she touched every person she came near. I loved her as if she was my own, and it will be a while before the hurt fades away.
Carrie, you could not have ask for a better family for Ivory. They pampered and loved her. When they found out she was sick, they did research and started her on special foods and holistic suppliments. She was happy right up to the last 24 hours. There are not many dogs out there that had the privilage of knowing so much love from two great families. The world is just a little bit less today for loosing her.
