    Default My Labrador's buddy

Our nearly 7 yr. old Jack Russell died tragically from a kidney infection last week. We loved him so much... so did Sammy (Sam) our 3 yr. old female Labrador. My wife and daughters were gone on vacation in the Carolinas the day Baxter got sick. He had had bladder/kidney problems since he was very young. When he died all I had was Sam here to grieve with. I was in a bad way for sure but having my good girl Sam by my side really helped. My wife who's not the dog person I am took it very hard too... bless her heart.

    feeling sorry for myself,

    jeff

Oh jeff, I'm so sorry to learn of Baxter's passing.

Rest in peace Baxter. :'( You are missed so very much.

Thanks Judy. I loved my dog. Sam is filling the emptiness some... she's a good girl. I still find myself calling for Baxter to come sit on my lap in the evenings.

Jeff, so sorry for your loss. Baxter is pain free and with the other pups, leaping from cloud to cloud.
