Saying Goodbye to Sierra

Sierra put up the best fight with cancer and was a champ through it all.
She was finally released from her body. As I look at the pictures in this forum, I smile when I see all her lab cousins. Her memory will forever be in my heart.
I've spoke to a few of you on these forums and thank you for all your support.

To help deal with our loss, I created a blog celebrating all our girls and a chronical of Sierra's brave fight against cancer.

My whole heart goes out to you as I am so sorry for you loss......I too am feeling the pain of losing our Lab Shadow. Shadow was 15+ years old and was swimming this past Saturday when she had a stroke. Her Daddy and I held her and were able to say goodbye knowing that she was doing what she loved most at the end. I wish I could give you words of comfort but alas, there are no words. Just remember our beautiful Dogs are healthy, happy, and running free once again.

Thanks for all of your kind words. Our dogs are family and it's good to see how much others feel the same way. I know she is paddling her heart out chasing after a ball in the ocean right now. I can see her running up and dropping the ball at my feet, with that big goofy, tongue hanging grin. She has lots of wonderful friends where she is now.
