I lost my best friend

My black lab of 5 years died Sunday, one day shy of his fifth birthday. I opened the door to let my other dog in and Simon snuck out and was killed by a car. Simon, I am sorry I was not more careful. Foregive Me. Simon your are without a doubt my best friend and I miss you terribly. The last 2 years of my life have been filled with trials and tragedy but you helped me thru. I am now at the lowest point in my life and desperately needed you to help me thru it. God had other plans for you.

I am so sorry. Such an untimely death and a tragedy. It was an accident, and accidents happen. I am sure Simon forgives you and will be the first one to greet you at the Rainbow Bridge with a wagging tail. I hope you can forgive yourself with time. I hope you come back here. Most everybody here lost a beloved friend before and we know how it feels. (((HUGS)))

gosh I'm so sorry for your loss. Keep your chin up, things will get better just give yourself some time and try not to blame yourself.

Don't beat yourself up, it was not in your control actually. He's asleep on a cloud with puppy wings! He came to get you through those tough times and did his "job", now he has been called Home. Cherish the memories and he will always be with you. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Oh I am so sorry. I am sitting here in tears.

Don't blame yourself. This was a horrible accident. Sometimes our soul mates are taken from us long before their time. Often leaving us feeling guilty.

Cherish the good times.
