Veronica, you remembered - thank you! Yes, Cory was my heart dog. She always crossed her front paws like that. And if we ever touched her feet, she would lick them. It was kind of funny because she loved to be touched and petted, but she had a thing about her feet. Don't touch the feet! Your Emma reminds me of Cory. Emma has such beautiful kind eyes. And she looks much younger than her age - you've taken very good care of her.

Kolin, I have no words of wisdom about the upcoming anniversary. I've struggled through them all, missed Cory terribly. I hope Feb 1 isn't as bad as you think it will be - your heart will ache for sure, but I hope lots of the happy times you spent with Yukon come to mind that day too. And make you smile.

And, that you have a good day with Ellis. No ... a great day with Ellis.

I have been thinking about you, but didn't realise it has been a year.
