Nick and Meeko

Sadly, I had to have my nearly 16 year old black Lab, Nick, put down this past Tuesday. Although the end was peaceful, it was heartbreaking. We took the poor old guy to the beach one last time before heading to the vet. My 16 year old son, who's dog Nick was, came with us. He was heartbroken!

I also remember our female black Lab, Meeko, who died suddenly of heart failure 2 years ago at the young age of 9.

Together again!

Edit: I didn't saw that Meeko also passed away. I'm so sorry, :'( I thought she was alive when I saw the picture and I guess I didn't read the text below... She was a very beautiful dog! Meeko, run free sweet angel, run free... They look so cute together in that picture...I'm sure they were very good friends and now they are together again on the other side of the rainbow bridge...
