My best friend is gone.

Today Nov. 13, 2002 Shadow, my best friend has crossed the bridge. She was the best dog we ever had. Shadow loved everyone and everyone loved Shadow. She was the most gentle creature. She had a dignity about her. Our hearts our broken today. Our home will never be the same. Shadow was such a big part of our lives.
Left to cherish her memory are Georgie & Dave, and all of Shadow's family. She will be missed so much.

Shadow please say hi to Storm for me. I miss her as much as mommy misses you. Two beautiful girls in the same week. I know they are together and best friends.

My heart goes out to you and your family. We lost our lab, Bogey 1 month ago and our hearts are still broken. Unless you have loved a Labrador you wouldn't know what it's like. I can't even think of Christmas this year without Bogey. He was the first one under the tree, looking for his presents. Our home will never be the same without him. I miss him everyday. God bless you during this time of sadness.
