Many of you may not remember us ... but some older members will ... I haven't been around in quite some time ... life just takes over!

For those who do remember us, I wanted to let you know that Chuck is waiting at the "Bridge" for me ...

Chuck has been plagued with arthritis and recently completely lame in his back end and we could no longer manage his pain. I know it was the right decision to let him go but I never imagined how much it would hurt ... We miss him so much .... we spent every day for the last 10 + years with him and everything reminds me of him..

I know it will get easier ... but for now it is so hard ...

Thought I would share an older picture of him when he was pain free .. he was a beautiful friend who will always be loved and remembered!

I'm sorry - I know how it hurts. He looks like he was a lovely dog - and like he was doing some serious thinking in the picture you posted!

I am so very sorry. We lost our Maggie in May, she was 12. It hurts so bad! I remember thinking I just want to pain to stop. We got our Sophie in June. She has helped us so much, but I still miss Maggie everyday. I am sending good thoughts your way...

I am so sorry, Dee. I loved your pictures of Chuck. I still remember the one when he was on your patio & I am not sure if he was sitting in a chair at the table, it looked like he was sipping on your drink. He was a beautiful boy. It is never easy. We never have them long enough. Chuck will always be in your heart. He is with Shadow & Molly & I know they are all playing, not sick or lame.
