    Default a real shock

I am a lab owner but this is about my "other dog" so if this offends anyone please let me know. Our dog was 16+ years old huskey and aussie shepherd, He and our lab got along famously, even though she was very young and he was the "old man". I was feeding him the other day he took a bite of food from my hand and he collapsed infront of me and died. He must of had a heart attack. We had gotten him from the humane society as a pup and loved him all those years. Our dogs are part of our family. We have raised alot of animals that have been dumped at our house, plus some elderly dogs from kennels. We realize they won't live forever, but it is always a shock and we miss him terribly.
    Thanks for listening!!

Why would the fact he was a non Lab offend anyone? We love all dogs here.

So sorry about your loss. It's a hell of a shock for you but at least he didn't suffer & for that you can be grateful. I know that doesn't lessen the pain though.

    RIP boy.

I am sorry for your loss. It is never easy. We sure never have them long enough. Your boy knew he was loved. Godspeed your sweet boy.
