Thanks to all who participated. Everyone did a great job with their pictures telling a story. As usual I find it very hard to pick just one person to win. SurferMom, you are right, no words were needed with your pictures! You could see the love between father (?) and daughter. Lab-junkie and Ownlabnjrt both of you did a great job too. But, I decide to pick Paula. I found her pictures and story very interesting. Thanks everyone for joining in.
Thought we might try something a little different this week. Try to tell a story with a series of photos. Lets try to limit it to 4 and post a smaller size. My great niece died when she was 17 months old. Her father was in Iraq at the time. What would have been her 2nd birthday her Mother asked that we write a note and send it off in a balloon. A short time after the balloons lifted into the sky a rainbow appeared! We feel it was a sign from my niece letting us know she received our notes.

Aww what a sad story Linda!
What a wonderful story Linda. Thank you.
Your story is very touching.
Here is my entry.
I live a couple of blocks from the Mississippi River. We have what is called a Spillway a few blocks from me. It is used for the over flow of the Mississippi River when it reaches heights that our levees can't contain. The last time the locks were opened was over 10 years ago. The locks were opened April 11th of this year. This allows the river to flow through the spillway to the Lake.

Gonna be hard to match your example Linda! What great story.
Here's mine....
This is my Moms poodle Biscuit who crossed Rainbow Bridge this year. We were at the river with my 2 labs who were having a blast jumping off the dock after toys. Biscuit would run back and forth from the dock to the boat ramp every time one of mine would jump in...whimpering and crying the whole time. He wanted to play so bad, but was a little shy of the water.
All he needed was a little support and encouragement....
and off he went....
RIP Biscuit Boo ~ We miss u!
He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion. - Anonymous
Not much story, but it is a sequence. I found these in last summer's pictures. My homemade agility equipment.
Judy, mom to Reba, the Lab, and Jalapeno (Halle), the JRT
I took these at Disneyland last week, I think they tell their own story.
