Need Photo Shop help--Thanks

I took this photo of DH and DD when visiting last week and it is over exposed. Is it possible to 'fix' it with photo shop? And if so, can someone help with that. Also do you think it would look better cropped and the houses gotten out of the picture? Any help would be appreciated.

I am no expert, but was going to try a little Photoshop on it. But after downloading it to Photobucket I just used their new free program for edits. I don't know if this is what you were looking for, if not try out Photobucket...
