52 Blessings ~ Week 1

This is just for fun! Please post a picture of something that made you feel blessed this week ~ something or someone you are grateful for. Your picture does not need to make a statement (and mine will prove it!). This is not a contest -- just a reminder to look at the bright side of life

and an opportunity to use your camera a bit more.

That said, I'll go first...

I am thankful for many things, but one that stands out to me at this moment is that I'm grateful to have a child who is interested in music, and enjoys playing ~

(... but did it have to be the drums?? :P just kidding)

I'm blessed and grateful that Gus/Cassie came through surgery ok and is slowly gaining weight so here she is (as a tiny blob with her mom and siblings) :

may she have a long life full of joy

I am so thankful this week for having my mobile (cell) phone with me. I got caught in traffic due to an accident and knew i wouldn't get back in time for my son, so called a neighbour to meet him off the school transport~ phew, how did we ever manage before them?

I am thankful to be blessed with a wonderful son who is almost 2.
He has been pretty sick the past month and can't seem to catch a break.
First it was croup, then he got the flu and shared it with Bob and I,
and now he has RSV with an ear infection. We have seen his doctor
every week in January.

So here is to my little monkey boy in hopes he starts to get better
here real soon!!!
