Hello everyone,

thank for all the great entrants this week, it has made my job of selecting a winner quite difficult.

There were several that i really liked, including Lilobella's buterflies, Chowhound's coke crate and ECM's shack/boat to name but a few, however the one that smacked me in he face and i kept returning back to was JIMBO'S wife and baby boy shot, i thought it was absolutely delightful and the colour and tone seemed in my opinion, perfect, so well done Jimbo ~

Thank-you Laurie for choosing me as winner, what a shame there were so few entrants.

As i have said before, I am very much an amateur in comparison to a lot of you. I have a very basic camera which frustrates me no end when it refuses to bring my ideas to life.

As I wasn't expecting to have to set the challenge this week i had no idea what to choose, so i read down the suggestions list and have decided upon....SEPIA SHOTS.

The photo can be of absolutely anything as long as it is in sepia tones.

Here are a couple of not so good examples.

Made this one yesterday in a DIY lightbox. Hope it qualifies as Sepia -- looks awfully dark compared to the others. But I have never tried Sepia before (in general, I don't care for the look) ... so I don't have a clue what I'm doing...

Dawn, for the Canon xt and I imagine the xti you can change the color tone in your parameters under the menu button. Your book should give you steps to change it. You can also use a photo editing program to change it.
