I am looking for some help! The kids got us one for Christmas. I had no trouble setting it up and getting it to run a slide show, but what I am having trouble with is getting the pictures to "fill" the frame. I can set the pictures to optimal, but then they are distorted or it cuts off some of the picture. If I set it for original image size some of the pictures are small ... some fill the frame ... some are med size, etc.
Does anyone know what I am missing? Do I need to make the pictures one size to work right?
Thanks
Sue

What resolution does your frame support? 800 x 480, 800 x 600 etc
I bought my wife a Kodak 8" digital photo frame and she loves it.
My kids bought me the 8 inch Kodak. I haven't taken it out of the box yet. I would think your pictures would need to be at least the resolution that the picture frame supports.

Linda - It's extremely easy to set up. I took one of my 4gb CF cards and dumped 200 high resolution photos along with a few of her mp3's onto it... Then I popped the CF card into the memory card slot and used the remote to start the slideshow.
It is this one from Polaroid.

On the controller it gives me the choice of 16:9 or 4:3 display type.
From what I have read 4:3 is 800x600 and 16:9 is 480x270.

No help here. But just wanted to say that I bought a Nextar 7 inch frame for my daughter for Christmas. Before we sent it to North Carolina we copied pictures to a USB flash drive and they were horribly distorted and seemed to be very dark. Not to mention that the stand did not put them at a good viewing angle and had little adjustment. So disappointed, that I returned it to the store. I know she would not have the resources or the knowledge to do any thing to make the pictures work.

I think I might be getting there with the pictures. I have had to resize them to 800x600 and then tell the frame optimize the picture to fill the whole space. On our frame there is a brightness control. I don't have it down perfect yet as some pictures still have parts "cut off".
