I want to be able to take pictures indoors, without getting the creepy, flash-eyes.... know what I mean?
I LOVE taking pictures, but I have waaay more of the dogs than the poor cats because I can basically only take pictures outside, and the cats don't go outside.
If it's a really sunny day and the light is pouring in, then I can get a few good shots, provided the kitties stay very very still. ;D
My friend mentioned that she had a flash that she could direct, and her indoor pictures are AWESOME!
So do I need a flash like that? What do you guys use for indoor shots?
BTW, I have a nikon D50.
TIA!

You need a hot shoe flash that swivels and tilts. I found this one at B&H Video for your camera.

Some of them are more expensive. This one is lower end but I think it will do what you want it to. You can check out some of the other flashes. Just check out that site and look for the Nikon compatible flashes.
