Weekly Challenge #28 Man Made *** Winner Announced***

Well after much consultation with a distinguished panel of experts (kids on the block) we have come up with the winner... KLM for the blue marble.

Great shot... We liked them all as well and thanks for the participation...
















We all love our dogs, nature, and our people and it seems that the majority of my pics are just that. Picking a topic was hard for me as i am kinda new at Photography as a hobby, and most of my ideas had been done.

I hope this will be an easy challenge so we get a wide response. Man Made is any thing made by people, your kids, yourself, or anybody, or group. I think we should look for composition and clarity. I am posting these as examples, but in no way set these as a standard. I am hoping to see much better examples from all of you.

Here are my entries for this week. I'm sorry buddysmom, thought those rules were for the photography class stuff only, I'll be good from now on, promise!

These are the grave markers for two brothers, taken at a graveyard near my house:




Besides dogs and taking pictures, one of my other "loves" is glass art. This is my favorite piece, done by a french-canadian artist. To me, art is the best kind of "man-made".




Thanks for this challenge harleydog, I hadn't realized how focused on nature I had been until I realized I didn't have any man made pics and had to go get some!

here you go...i had nothing better to do so i searched for it.

They do this on several of the other photo forums I frequent, and it's a fun way to make yourself go out and take pictures.

There will be a "weekly challenge" posted each week. The person who posts the challenge (in this case me) will select the photo they feel is the best representation of the weekly topic (this week it is Black and Blue).
The person who "wins" will decide what the next weekly challenge is and post a thread with that challenge... and they will decide who "wins" their challenge, and then that winner will post a challenge... etc.. etc...

So, this week's challenge is Black and Blue. Take a picture of something that you feel represents Black and Blue and post it to this thread. You can enter up to TWO photos for the weekly challenge, so choose your best shots. This challenge will end next Sunday at noon (that's April 15).

Ideally you should try to take the photo during the challenge... but we won't make you stick to this. If you have an older photo you think will work, post it You CAN use editing techniques to enhance your photos.
