_Winner Announced for Challenge #23__________________________________________
Those are some very nice shots, however I think I'm going with KLM with this picture:
It was a tough choice and I want to to thank everyone for their contributions.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Let's see some abstract shots. Take the seemingly ordinary and make it interesting.
Examples:
I could have taken a shot of the Space Needle. However there is a zillion of those and I wanted something different.
Another shot nearby by the Space Needle just on the other side of the Science Fiction Museum.
I shot this to use as a background/wallpaper for my monitor. Taken at Matagorda Beach a few weeks ago.
Full size 1920x1200 in case anyone else would like to use it as a background as well.

I don't think this is exactly what you wanted, but I kinda liked it when I saw it. I also do not know what kind of flower it is, so if anyone does, please let me know.
I will go out Friday and see if I can get something more abstract, but for now here ya go...
This is maybe a little closer?
I don't think this is it either but I'll post it anyway...
A little photoshop fun...
Abstract is certainly subjective and is really defined by how the individual sees abstract by their own definition.
Hopefully this will help.

I'm not sure these are truly abstract, but here are mine.
"Treasures of the Sea"
"Lifesaver"
"Frozen Plumes"
"Parking in tight spaces"
Brookville, Pa.
Ok, so I was messing with my new camera and the settings. This is the closest I came to abstract.
Here are my shots:
