There were some awesome pictures which made picking a winner difficult.
But the image that I liked the most was this one from Mike Bons, who gets to pick the next challenge...

Post your most creative and fun shots of your (human) kids or other folk's kids
if you don't have any of your own. Challenge ends Sunday, Sept. 2nd... Happy shooting!!!
These were taken this summer on a vacation I took to Lancaster County, PA. The kidlet is a neighbor.
It was blistering hot, and we were all tired. She just said it best.
The lighting's not very good on this, but her expression is sweet. She just got to take apart an ear of corn, freshly picked from the field.

My kid is a little too hairy for this challenge, so this is a friends little girl at the Bristol Renaissance Faire, this past Sunday.
The background could be better, but
I think her expression is priceless.
Harleydog, I think she's looking at that lady's chest LOL
Adorable, all of them!
Here are my entries:
"Hoping for a catch"
"Pretty as a princess"
"Takin' a swim"
"Riding the waves"
It's not a really good shot, but I love it

These 2 pictures were taken of my son Jonathan on Christmas day last year- he had a Jack Sparrow dress up set and was very pleased with it- the serious look was intentional- he said he was trying to look like a pirate!!
