Default Weekly Challenge #12 - Public Buildings -Winner Announced

This has been very hard for me to decided on a winner (I'm a Libran and we are a very indecisive lot!) I really like both of the little white churches but have decided that this weeks winner is the photo taken by "gingersdad"......Well done, I also think it is a funny combination to sell in the same shop

OK.....the challenge this week is "Public Buildings"....I'm thinking along the lines of hospital, school, library, church, town hall etc. It can be an indoors or outside picture. I'll try and take a couple of examples today and post them later. Due to time differences I will probably be announcing the winner Sunday evening US time.

    Have fun

    (I'll try again!!!)

Just found 30 mins to dash out and take a couple of photos.

This is the public toilets at a local nature reserve. I like the duality of the grotty, man-made structure against the natural background (Oooooh! I've gone all fancy pants )

This is taken at my local library

    Won't someone please feed me!

This was yesterday, it's the Newport City Harbor, on Lake Memphremagog, in Vermont

This is the US border customs right next to the Harbor information center

The lake, is 2/3 in Vermont and 1/3 in Canada.

"Country Church". This tiny church is at the end of my road. A couple of weeks ago when we drove by on a Sunday morning two old men were sitting on the front steps in their denim overalls! They were adorable and I wanted so badly to take their photo!

I took this shot while driving by, I thought the store advertised an odd combination.

Well, I didn't get where I wanted to go, but I took a few out and aboot in my city anywho.

I have no idea what this building is, but it is kinda artsy

And this is the aforementioned building from the otherside, I was adjusting so I took this shot to see where I was at, and when I uploaded it, it looked kinda cool, although hugely out of focus.

And the Ambassador Bridge, where I have spent a lot of time in my life, just swingin' away. It was really too cloudy today, so the picture is not all that great.

And the Detroit skyline from the park at the end of my road.
