help with pic

i wanna print this pic, so what should i do with it to brighten it up?

What editing program do you use? Look for an enhancement called Levels. You will see a graph when you open Levels. I would suspect the right edge of the graph does not come to the edge of the rectangle. Move the right slider over to the edge of the graph area. This will lighten it up. If it's too light, move it backward til you like the look. You can also move the middle slider, which is your midtones, to help lighten or darken the photo. Hope this helps.

If you brighten up your picture too much, the white shirt will blend in with the ice....

I used Adobe Photoshop's Auto Levels tool.
