It was a tough decision but I chose Lablover as this week's winner... I thought this was a great picture!!! You get to pick this week's challenge.![]()
Thanks KLM for picking me...![]()

I got this challenge from another photography forum and thought it looked fun....
Same rules apply:
- Submit 2 of your best pictures - (Exposure & composition are important)
- Deadline Noon (EST) on Sunday April 29th
Images in this challenge must contain at least one piece of furniture or a portion of a piece of furniture. The furniture may be the subject of your photo or it may play a supporting role to the subject in your image. However, if the furniture plays a supporting role, it should be an integral part of the overall composition. For this challenge, the definition of furniture will be very broad and include indoor or outdoor furniture, automobile seats, park benches, milking stools, and most likely anything else you can justify.

Aww, sorry Jimbo. I can hardly type let alone try and hold my camera. I hope after I see the Dr. tomorrow and my stitches come out that I might be able to hold my ultra small canon power shot and post a picture.

I have a question!!
When you say the furniture has to be the main focus...would a picture of say a dog on the sofa work? ooor a dog sitting in a chair?

Sorry, i'am not so in to 'furniture' only if i have to sit on it! :![]()
That will work... The furniture would play a supporting role instead of being the main subject.Originally Posted by AbbyandMolly

Aw, don't worry! You just picked a hard subject!!! I've been looking at my furniture in a whole new way this week trying to think of an interesting shot. I've decided I have boring furniture. I'll come up with something though!!Originally Posted by Jimbo

Don't worry - you'll always see mostly Jake pictures... hey, I had to go out and buy an external storage drive just to store all those pictures of Jake!! But - I have interest in photographing lots of things!! Check out my Flickr page! http://www.flickr.com/photos/kathy1976 I'm interested in photography in general and I think having to shoot different type objects (such as furniture) will improve my overall quality!Originally Posted by Felix

That is what is most fun about the Weekly Challenge to me - getting myself out of my comfort zone and trying to see things in a new way! 8)

Sorry for picking a hard subject...
If you need ideas to get you going, there a lot of examples in this gallery: http://www.pbase.com/cslr_challenge/cslr92_exhibition
Here's one that I took a few weeks ago...
The little boy is the subject but the chairs are also important to the overall composition..
