I don't know exactly what Jack's life was like before we got him, aside from that he was chained, probably lived mostly on concrete, ignored, then ended up at the pound when he was seized. I find this is too sad to think about on a daily basis, so sometimes choose to imagine he was plucked from the wilderness. So I pieced this together from photos we took with him on holiday at the beach.
Wilderness Jack spends most of his days using his large ears to fly over the hillside, looking for strawberries.
Wilderness Jack enjoys surveying the landscape and thinking of strawberries.
His hobbies include kelp sculpture and rescuing dead seabirds from streams.

But Wilderness Jack feels a sense of sadness. He has no shoes to steal. He doesn't even know what shoes are. And there are no cats in the wilderness.
One day, he happens upon a group of pople with thought bubbles for heads. They massage him behind the ears. Wilderness Jack finds this pleasant.
Wilderness Jack decides to stay with the thought-bubble headed people. They smell excellent.
