Introducing... my crazy dog.

Well, I posted in the Introductions board a while ago, but I really don't know where to start, so I'll begin by doing something I can do even if I don't know what to type... here's some photos!

The day we got him.
He still had a shaved patch on his front leg from when he got fixed at the pound.

Initially I had this rule that he wouldn't be allowed on the furniture. Here you can see he's very happy with himself because I gave in and let him get on the couch. o_o

I'm happy you were able to rescue him.I can't believe someone would abandon such a sweet and handsome boy. How old is he?

The vet said he's "over a year old". The pound apparently estimated he's about 18 months old. 20 months now.

I know. He's such a lovely dog, even with his bad manners. He's never been aggressive or nasty even though he's probably had a rough puppyhood. According to the woman who gave him to me (she got him from the pound but only had him for a matter of weeks before she decided she couldn't keep him and was going to take him back there) his original owners kept him chained up and he was eventually seized for neglect. When we took him to the vet the vet also said he could tell Jack had been neglected and not given enough attention (and possibly food or exercise) by his behaviour. He's really a puppy inside, only much bigger and stronger.
