Screw that, I am having a Chanel day. I love good perfume, though I rarely wear it anymore out of consideration for others. I understand some people have allergies & get headaches, but I am only wearing a spritz... not enough to smell unless you are veryclosetome, and if you are thisclosetome and I make you sneeze... move.
Before anyone has a hissy, no, I am not working in an office or anywhere that forces anyone to be in my immediate company, just going about my Sunday. I completely understand the headache thing though. Too-strong scents, or cheap, tacky smelling scents do it to me everytime. Especially the gross, sickly sweet smells. Hello headache.
Fragrance has the power to transport me to another time and place, and conjures memories like nothing else. For me, fall is Chanel, Obsession, Ralph Lauren, & Thierry Mugler, with overtones of damp ground & decaying leaves... cool wind & fireplaces.
Anyone else love a good perfume?![]()

I don't wear it, allergic, but I don't mind when people wear it like you do. My best friend ever wears Chanel Chance every day. Each time I smell it on someone else I think of herI like that, makes me feel close to her even though we live many states apart!
I do spritz myself with lavender essential oil spray every now and then to freshen up, but that scent fades very quickly, and I never do it when I have to go sit near people in class.

I love perfumes but I can not stand the really strong ones. There is a girl I work with that I don't know what she wears but omg I can't stand the smell of it. Its so strong and I think she baths in the stuff. Blahh...
I love Curve and another one I wear from Mary Kay but I can't think of the name of it right this second. Oh and there is one from the Gap that I love and wear too.

I love Chanel Allure. One of my favs.
I hate perfume. Mostly because people wear too much. I can often be heard muttering my backhanded compliment. "Nice scent...but must you bathe in it?"

Cam, your right about that! I never spray directly on myself. I always spray up in the air, and then walk into it.
I always know when a certain gal is working at our local grocery store. All you can smell is that scent it's overpowering and it stinks. I'm sure she bathes in it.
I wear Opium in the fall and winter. I love it and other people have commented on how great it smells on me - but they can only smell it when they are within 3' of me. I am very careful about how much I wear, because most scents affect my asthma and I know how miserable it is when someone else wears something that makes you ill.
