Good Thoughts Please for the MIL:

Its been crazy over here so I haven't been on much, but we have a new development with my MIL. You may recall she was diagnosed with lymphoma and has been getting chemo. Then she fell and shattered her femur, but they won't operate on her til the chemo is done because her immune system is compromised and they don't want to stop the chemo. She's been in a rehab center for a few weeks to get her moving a bit with the broken leg and the chemo may be done...

but last night they transferred her to the hospital with a blood clot in her lung. I'm kinda freaking out. This is what killed my father's mother. I'm very worried. The hospital wants to put her on cumetin - a blood thinner, but her oncologist doesn't want her to go on that because it will dillute the chemo. My thought is...screw the chemo. This is immediately life threatening. She can have another flipping chemo treatment after the clot goes away! But not being a doctor, my opinion doesn't count for much.

So prayers and good thoughts are desperately needed for my MIL and if you could send some my hubby's way...he's so stressed with work, the house renovation and his mom...if he doesn't have a heart attack it will be a minor miracle.
