I don't see it as a big deal. Some people are not flag wavers. Doesn't make them any less patriotic or American.

I just thought it was weird. I'm not anti-anyone right now. I'm undecided.

I don't really care one way or the other. If nobody had known the flag symbol had been there before, they'd probably think it's just a pretty sharp lookin' plane.

I do think, however, that it was a poor political move on his part. He KNOWS what a big deal was made of the lack of a flag pin. It seems like he either completely forgot about that furor, or he wants to stir the pot again.

The plane does still have a flag on it, just not the one that's from the prior owner's logo.

I think he'd be facing a lawsuit if he'd left a corporate logo on his plane....

Talk about scraping the bottom of the 'slam obama' barrel....

(eta i don't see any flags on McCain's plane either....)

You're right, what a man!. But I'm leaving it at that. I wanted to say that I'm undecided as to who I'm leaning toward, but think it's strange that one would remove the flag.

I think it is interesting that Obama's plane is red white and blue [a blue similar to the blue on the flag] and he still has a flag logo on it.

While McCain's plane is a light blue [not American flag blue] and yellow. A blue and yellow similar to the blue and yellow on the [former] communist state of the Ukraine, and also earily similar to the colors on the ultra-hyper-tax-and-spend-free-sex country of Sweden. And, by the way I see no American flag at all on McCain's plane.
