Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't posted much in a long while. I've been pretty sick the past almost 2 months
and I have another 12 weeks to go. My Crohn's Disease flared up pretty bad. Doc has me on prednisone
but it hasn't been helping much. So last Wednesday I had a Colonoscopy and my colon was pretty bad.
He put me on a Chemo drug that I have to inject myself with the next 12 weeks. I had my first injection
last week and it knocked me to the ground for 2 days. I'm finally back to life here but next week will start
all over again. This chemo drug is also used to treat arthritis and Crohn's Disease. But I can truly say I
know what people with cancer have to go through because this chemo is not fun. I'm probably going to loose
some hair too which I'm not thrilled about. But if its going to put me back in remission then I'll suffer through
it.
I know how the JL prayers work so if you could just keep me in your thoughts that this gets me better.
Thank you!!!! :'(

I am sorry you are having such a rough time! I hope you are feeling better soon!![]()
Oh man, I'm so sorry to hear you're not well Dawn.May I ask the name of the drug? My co-worker was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. They did surgery to remove part of her lung and now have her on chemo. Her first treatment was last friday and it's been pure hell for her since then. She was admitted to emergency room yesterday. She told me the name of it, but I forget. I guess it hits everyone differently.
Prayers for you. My nephew has crohns and I know it's very unpleasant.

I'm not getting as high as dose as people with cancer would get of it, but its still enough to give me the
side effects of it.
