ARGH! Why can't these things be easy??

I was sucked away from my desk yesterday (get your minds out of the gutter, people!), whisked to one of our other buildings to slave away at a godawful project. Our desktop pub person upped and quit. Walked away with 0 notice. And so, as one of the only people who knows the software (well, EC knows it too, but the thoughts of her jumping in? BAhahahahahahahahahaahahha <gasp> hahahahahahahahahah!!), I was pulled (again, no entendre -- double or otherwise -- intended).

My temporary re-assignment has me at a desk with NO internet and NO e-mail. Even the phone is two tin cans connected by kite string.

I'll be there again all day today.

And then tomorrow, we're off to Mexico! Let the fiesta begin. After this, I'm going to need many, many drinkies with little umbrellas in them.

Anyway, try not to miss me.

And rest assured: I AM SO BRINGING UP THIS RESCUE MISSION WHEN MY SALARY REVIEW COMES UP IN NOVEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!
