Any good thoughts you could spare for my Grandma would be much appreciated. She's in the hospital right now under observation.

She fell sometime after 2am, but before 7:30 am (we're pretty sure it was between then because I got home from work a bit after 2am from semi-annual sale set up, and she was asleep.

She has a gash just above her right ear that required 5 staples, and there is blood in (on...not sure of the technical term) her brain. They aren't sure if the blood on the brain caused the fall or if it occurred from the fall. We hadn't noticed any negative changes in her behavior or attitude, in fact she had been improving (attitude wise) since she had started day care.

We're trying to figure out where she may have fell, but we didn't find blood on anything in the house except the baby gate to our basement stairs and that was in the form of finger prints, we think she came upstairs to turn on the light like she does every morning.

Oh no...i hope your grandmother is ok. Sending thoughts and prayers her way that she has a speedy recovery and that the blood on the brain isnt anything serious.
